Parkway Drive

Catapulting from the shores of Byron Bay into global headliner status, Parkway Drive have spent over two decades forging an astonishing reputation as one of Australia’s most successful exports.

From humble beginnings as teenage metal underdogs, Parkway Drive’s journey since forming in 2003 has led to sold out shows across the world, millions of streams, an ever-growing legion of fans, and a formidable live presence; all while redefining the sights and sounds of modern heavy music in the process.

Now with eight studio albums in their wake, including Don’t Close Your Eyes (2004), Killing with a Smile (2005), Horizons (2007), Deep Blue (2010), Atlas (2012), IRE (2015), Reverence (2018) and, most recently, Darker Still (2022), Parkway Drive’s remarkable discography is lined with a relentless passion for expanding boundaries and expectations, with frontman Winston McCall, guitarists Jeff Ling and Luke Kilpatrick, bassist Jia O’Connor and drummer Ben Gordon balancing their metalcore roots with everything from uncompromising ferocity through to raw melodies, traditional heavy metal and beyond.

Globally, Parkway Drive have generated significant international chart and streaming success while also leaving a burning mark on the world stage. But while now firmly an international household name in the metal world, the group’s successes closer to home has also led to them being in command of 6 x ARIA Certified Gold Albums, 4 x #1 ARIA Albums, and 2 x ARIA Platinum DVDs, also winning Most Performed Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Work at the 2024 APRA Awards, and taking home the crown for 3 x ARIA Music Awards, including Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal album for Deep Blue in 2010, Reverence in 2018, and Darker Still in 2023. And whether headlining a local and international contingency at 2019’s Good Things Festival on home soil, ticking off their biggest headline shows to date in 2024, entirely sold out and in Australia’s largest arenas as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations, or imminently making history in 2025, set to perform with a full symphony orchestra at the Sydney Opera House this June, the immortal flame for Parkway Drive’s Australian live performances is aptly reflected via the group’s own fiery live production that ravenously raises the bar time and time again.

A band who have redefined success for over 20 years while also proudly flying the flag for heavy music on a mainstream level, Parkway Drive are a juggernaut like no other. And while their flame-fuelled stages may find them wowing crowds all over the world, they still – and always will – call Australia home.
